Charles E. Holbrook
Charles Holbrook is a geologist who has invested his adult life studying, applying and teaching geology. After earning bachelors’ and masters’ degrees in geology, he worked a full career in the petroleum industry with both applied science and management responsibilities related to petroleum exploration. After retiring, he taught geology courses at the college level through a private North Carolina university for four years. He has remained close to the earth sciences through studying, writing and speaking on issues related to energy and the environment. He and his wife, Jewell, retired to Pinehurst, NC.
