Matthew J. Mikulich PH.D
Dr. Mikulich received his Ph.D. in geophysics at the University of Utah in 1971 and spent his professional career as an industrial scientist. He retired from Chevron Corporation in 1999 as Corporation Chief Geophysicist and Principal Technical Advisor. He is currently appointed Adjunct Professor of Geophysics, Geosciences Department, Virginia Tech, and also Adjunct Professor of Geophysics, Department of Geology and Geophysics, University of Utah, having held both appointments for more than 10 years. In 1996, he was appointed “Distinguished Lecturer” by the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has given papers at numerous technical meetings, both domestic and international, and lectured at more than 20 universities around the world.
